I love when completely unexpected coincidences occur. I was just reading The Man Who Loved Books Too Much this morning and the author was at a book fair and was writing about the Book of Hours.
I love Enya, by the way. Great choice for the first advent post!
I know what you mean, Carl – I love coincidences like that! There are so many beautiful Book of Hours – my favorite, of course, is the Limbourg brothers work – but this one was really nice too. I especially like how small it is.
Lovely, lovely. Enya is one of my favorites, and the Books of Hours are all exquisite. I can see right now that I’m going to have to reserve you a space in my later evenings – these posts deserve far more than being sandwiched in between fixing dinner and returning phone calls 😉
Enya does have a beautiful voice, doesn’t she – so crystal clear and pure. How wonderful to hear you will be checking in every day. Thank you!
Hooray! It’s here! (I adore both Enya and the Book of Hours. Must check that link!)
Hi Jeanie, I’m so glad to see you here! The Enya song is just beautiful! I hope you have time to listen this weekend.
